Goldhar has moved to a new location in London. Now you can find fast friendly debt relief more conveniently at 341 Talbot Street, Suite 209. And when you walk in the door, Karen Liberty will be there to greet you.
Born and raised in the Chatham-Kent area, Karen has been helping people overcome the burden of unmanageable debt for 27 years.
A Graduate of Brescia College at UWO, Karen began her career as an insolvency professional in the Chatham office of Thorne, Ernst & Whinney in 1989. She transferred to the London office of Peat Marwick Thorne/KPMG in 1992, in the role of senior estate administrator. She also covered offices in Sarnia, Chatham and Windsor until August of 2011, when the personal insolvency branch of the firm was transferred to BDO. Happy to be travelling, she expanded her itinerary to embrace St. Thomas, Strathroy and Leamington.
She obtained her CIRP designation in 2012, and became a Licensed Insolvency Trustee in 2014.
Karen met Richard Goldhar while on CIRP courses together, and had worked with Goldhar LIT Barb Visentin for many years at KPMG. When Goldhar was ready to expand throughout southwestern Ontario, Karen was Richard and Barb’s number one choice to manage the offices in London, Chatham and Windsor.
Karen enjoys helping people get out from under the burden of debt and move on with their lives. In her own words, “The relief I see on their faces when I show them there really is life after debt is my greatest reward.”
Karen embraces new challenges every day as she travels to Chatham, Windsor, London, Sarnia and Woodstock, and even up into Exeter, Clinton, and Goderich as needed to meet with people in need of fast, friendly debt relief.
Married, with two sons who are active in local hockey and baseball, Karen still calls Chatham-Kent home.
